We are looking for a compassionate, motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team at our Mariners Landing clinic. Our one-on-one approach allows you to provide individualized attention in a supportive environment where patients feel heard, valued, and encouraged to reach their goals.

What You’ll Do
- Provide individualized, one-on-one physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
- Implement established plans of care to help patients improve strength, mobility, balance, function, and overall quality of life.
- Work with patients across a variety of diagnoses, including orthopedic, neurological, and age-related conditions.
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, functional activities, and strategies that support progress outside the clinic.
- Communicate with supervising physical therapists and other team members to support coordinated, patient-centered care.
- Complete timely, accurate documentation in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.
- Help create a welcoming, encouraging clinic environment where patients feel supported throughout their rehabilitation journey.
- Contribute to the growth and success of the clinic through positive patient experiences, professional collaboration, and participation in team initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current, active Virginia PTA license.
- Current CPR certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient-centered approach and a genuine interest in helping people achieve their goals.
- Dependability, organization, and the ability to work collaboratively with a supervising physical therapist.
- Experience in outpatient orthopedics, geriatrics, or neurological rehabilitation is a plus, but we welcome applicants who are eager to learn and grow.
- A willingness to contribute to the overall success of the clinic and collaborate with the broader Full Distance team.

Compensation: $28–$34 per hour, depending on experience. PRN compensation may vary. Benefits are available for eligible full-time positions
