As a Physical Therapist with Full Distance, you will play a vital role in this team, offering thoughtful, one-on-one care in our outpatient clinic and contributing to a collaborative, wellness-focused atmosphere. This position also offers opportunities for growth in pelvic health, including support for credentialing and continuing education. You’ll work closely with a PTA currently pursuing pelvic health certification, making this an excellent environment for those looking to deepen or begin their journey in pelvic health therapy.

Key Responsibilities

In alignment with Full Distance’s holistic philosophy, the Physical Therapist will:

  • Deliver personalized physical therapy care to clients in our clinic, guided by individualized plans of care.
  • Empower clients by restoring mobility, reducing pain, and improving their quality of life through customized treatment plans that support holistic health.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, physicians, and other wellness professionals to ensure a seamless and supportive care experience for every client.
  • Use compassionate communication to educate clients, caregivers, and families, helping them integrate therapy practices into their daily lives for long-term wellness.
  • Cultivate a therapeutic environment of kindness, respect, and dignity, guided by the belief that “Recognize the Other Person is You” —a core value that centers compassion in all interactions.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) or equivalent.
  • Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Virginia (proof of licensure required).
  • Two years of experience preferred, though a deep alignment with our values and a willingness to learn is equally important.
  • Current CPR certification and a commitment to continued education and growth in holistic, integrative care.
  • Strong understanding and adherence to HIPAA and patient privacy regulations.

Working Environment and Schedule

  • Provide therapy services in our outpatient clinic in Purcellville, VA.
  • Opportunity to work in a vibrant, collaborative setting with a wide range of clients, from orthopedic to neurologic, pelvic health and wellness-based care.
  • Monday–Friday day schedule, flexibility based on client and employee availability and practice needs with space available for evening and weekend treatments if desired.

Pelvic Health Specialization Support
